Malinda and Jordan

We hadn't expected to have enough time to shoot any portraits outside, but thanks to some good scheduling by Bobbie Izeman (www.iwed4u.com), we made use of some extra minutes and jumped in my car. Just as we drove past the airport, the light broke through the clouds. Add the prancing deer in the background and the field seemed to be waiting for us. It was a nice addition to an already wonderful day.

Tracy and Scott

I had the pleasure of photographing Tracy and Scott's wedding and their rehearsal dinner this past weekend. I was struck by the sheer volume of heartfelt toasts these two received, not just as congratulations for their new union, but as recognitions of their individual character. This was not just a wedding celebration, but an acknowledgment of two wonderful people and the caring parents who raised them. Mazel Tov!

Avi Leo Bernstein

My amazing wife did it again! We welcomed Avi into the world the day before Halloween, two days before I finished remodeling the bathroom (oops). With help from baba, Avi is resting comfortably, though the same cannot be said for Inna who has already seen two clients. The boys and I are also doing fine. Isaac has shown his first modicum of empathy by weeping uncontrollably at the sound of Avi crying, and Simon has repeatedly asked to hold the baby. Whether his intention is to actually follow through on the act of holding or simply to get the baby away from steadier hands is yet to be seen. I, meanwhile, have been trying unsuccessfully to make an appointment with a urologist.
